You don't have to worry about advertising, having your own download server, pushing updates to clients, etc. It lets Comcept focus on making a game, then making a second game, rather than getting caught up in a lot of extraneous things that go into selling a product.

As for the Call designs, I went with F, though E had me tempted.
well....fair enough, but they should try to get it on gog, impulse, origin ect too. Just for competition's sake.

I liked B and F and was tempted to vote for F, but then I thought it's the most generic of the designs (so it will probably win) so instead I voted for the librarian bot :P

EDIT

And I will agree that all of them suck in reality  . The girls of Megaman Legends 3 were much better designed

There is supposedly going to be a DRM free digital version at least. It's just that the physical version is going to be Steam only. So I guess if you wanted to you could get one of the USBs and put the DRM free version onto it as well. It's just that I'd personally rather the disc, though the cartridge design USBs are cool.

I understand their concern over updates and stuff but I wish they would've gone with the option for GOG then if that was such a concern.

I voted for Call A. I think the expression fits the character back-story and the glasses are cute.

It seems like the Roll clone one we've already seen (F) is going to win by default if you go by people's comments. That kind of disappoints me even though the alternatives aren't exactly spectacular. Also the pink haired one is nowhere in sight which has annoyed a lot of people.

I just really hope they don't go with the maid bot or the stewardess looking ones.

I know, right? Why can't they just design her wearing a nice pair of sneakers, jeans, a t-shirt, and a pony-tail? Maybe a backpack? No make-up, purse, heels, or dress either, please - too girly and therefore feminist.

What's silly is that she is going to be playable so it makes even LESS sense to have her look like a maid instead of a warrior.

Are you implying that a well trained maid can't kick ass?

I'm going to guess there's an anime about fighting maids out there, right?

Mahoro from Mahoromatic is a maid/combat android. She's the first one that comes to mind.

That and I love the way ideas for the way her "hair" would work.
