Haven't seen it yet, but it's gotta be better than the David Hasselhoff version.

The shadow part at the beginning was awesome. I thought most of Coulson's dialog in the beginning and middle seemed forced and not on par for the character. Once he recruited his team, he was back to normal.

I really don't care about anything other than the Tahiti story... or the real story. That plot point will keep me coming back every week.

I guess at this point we're to assume he's actually a clone, since he thought he was in Tahiti but wasn't in Tahiti. Whatever the answer is, the bit of dialogue where the female agent says "he doesn't know, does he?" to the doctor while Coulson's 10 feet away was silly, not just because he may have heard, but because she was just talking to him. Assuming this is some huge secret from him, I'd assume that people who are in on that secret would be aware that it's... well, a secret.

"Let us not hire Gunn as an agent, but hacker girl looks like a great addition".

Huh?

I thought it was alright. I'm not feeling it yet. I also think the show can lower the snark level. It is the highest classified government agency there is, after-all.

Also ... here's hoping Hydra pops up! Green suits and Nazi affiliations are unnecessary.

Life-Model Decoy, like Nick Fury uses, I'm sure. (Not a clone).

All in all, a nice opening. I'm onboard for this show.

I missed it last night, but watched it tonight on Hulu.

Frankly, I wasn't excited for the show and I expected to be bored.

That said, I enjoyed it quite a bit. So there you go.

Some of the dialogue was too...cute, I guess? I think they were trying too hard. When it actually landed, it was fun, but it mostly felt unnatural and kinda dumb.

But they've got my interest. I'll be following it.

Was an okay, but not great pilot. Next episode looks like it will be pretty good though and I loved the extra features of Coulson's car at the end.

I have some limited interest in this show. Let me know when when it gets really good so that I can start watching back episodes on Hulu. Until then - and based on the lukewarm reception it received on this site - I will pass...

Joss Whedon found my Global Frequency/Avengers crossover fanfic but took our Miranda and made Aleph some sort of hippy.

We will see what happens, but so far I am not impressed. I must have watched a different show than my wife's friends. They all went crazy for it, I just didnt see it. Coulson was the saving grace, along with a few one liners, but I am willing to give it a few episodes before passing final judgement.
