Best Rainbow Six game? Where to start?

If you're gonna play RS3 on the Gamecube, you may need this video for one of the toughest missions in the game. The guy's reaction at 2:43 was how I felt for a while on that.

Rainbow Six Vegas 1 and 2 imo, love them, get them on 360, the PS3 versions suck, and i have both on PS3.

720p, the 360 ones run in 1080i.

I can notice the difference from playing the 360 ones at a friends to playing them on a PS3, its almost like they are blurry or something.

Also, controls, i dunno fps just plays better with a 360 controller.

meh no big whoop for me. I've seen games and movies in 1080 and 720 and only saw a slight difference. It looked alright to me, so to each there own.

I still play them on my PS3, so i guess i dont really care when it comes right down to it.

Let's be frank, a game with health regen is not what I'm looking for


I want a hardcore tactical game where I can't just headshot everyone because I know I can and that's boring.

BTW, What about SWAT 4? People have told me they are similar.

This is the biggest reason why I'm leaning towards Raven Shield instead of Rogue Spear.

On the console side, you might want to check out the SOCOM games for PS2 too; especially 3 since the online modes are down and that's the only one with a good story to play through. It's 3rd person, you die pretty well instantly and it requires you to be stealthy and order your squadmates around effectively to win (along with choosing the right equipment). They're really great games. I've always wondered why they had such terrible box art though.
