Does the console version of this game (Specifically the PS3 version) have any kind of DRM attached to the DLC? I'm planning on giving away my barely touched PS3 copy to someone, but I previously installed all of the DLC. I don't want to give them the copy only to find out they cant access the content advertised on the box because it's tied to my PSN account or something.
I already Google searched and looked back and forth through the games manual but cant find anywhere that confirms or deny's it. And my memory isn't turning up anything either.

No, it I don't think it does. I bought it second hand and I can't remember there being any DRM

Re: Question about Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition - DR
They can use the base game just fine, but the DLC is tied to your PSN account, so those parts they'd either need to purchase, or just play the game without them.

even in the Ultimate Edition? Is it not on the disc?isiolia wrote:They can use the base game just fine, but the DLC is tied to your PSN account, so those parts they'd either need to purchase, or just play the game without them.

It's on the disc, and apparently doesn't use a code, just installs. So perhaps not for that release.dsheinem wrote:even in the Ultimate Edition? PC version has to bind it to an EA/Bioware account still. The original release had the one-time use code for some of the content on all platforms though.

It's definitely on the disc and not tied to the PSN account in any way.dsheinem wrote:even in the Ultimate Edition? Re: Question about Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition - DR
I can only talk from the 360 version, but its DRM free. You can use your buddies copy to get the DLC, same with a lot of 360 'GOTY' editions.
