Looking back at your earlier gaming experiences what regrets do you have? Yes, it does no one any good to live in regret and the beauty of retro gaming is you can go back and do things you meant to do a long time ago (I just beat Castlevania for NES last weekend for the first time).
My Regrets...
Wish I focused on getting quality games over quantity.
Wish I spent more time with my Gameboy pocket(and advanced for that matter) than I did.
Sometimes I wish I had an SNES instead of a Genesis but at the same time it was the origin of my love for Sega wich I still have today. Great company, some bad business decisions.
Wish I finished more games (working on rectifying this)
I'd rather replace all the time I spent playing Mortal Kombat with Street Figher... Mortal Kombat seemed cooler when I was 12 but now I can see Street Figher as a much better fighting series.
Giving away my DC mags to my nephews. They were in pristine condition and I was only missing one issue. Obviously I didn't care at the time but now looking back I wish I would have kept them for nostalgia sake. I shutter to think of what they look like now.
Selling my copy of Skies of Arcadia. I played thru once. Thought it was great. Right up there as my fav RPG. Now that I want to play again the thing is running as high as $50 at some stores!
Selling both my copies of Lunar 1 and 2(sega cd) for cheap 6 or 7 years ago. I needed the cash and they were obviously not going as high as they are now.
Well I'll save some time and just add "selling any game that has crazy value now" lol.
Passed on a Vitual Boy that had the original box and a couple games at a garage sale for 'cheap' in the early 2000's.
