Been watching random episodes of hetalia and others recently, but today I found out that there's an HDN anime (I'm so far behind), and I'm a couple episodes into that. I have to say, I'm definitely enjoying it more than I thought I would.

So, The World God Only Knows: Goddesses is over. I am devastated. It's over! We needed four or five more episodes to do it properly, right? I'm still pretty happy with what we got, even if the conflict between New Hell and Old Hell was resolved way too quickly.

Anyway, how about that ending? Are you satisfied? None of the main characters are There's a lot left to take care of. Here's to hoping Katsuragi's sense of initiative will prevent him from dragging it out way too long.

I want to hear his opinion on marriage now.

Finally got past episode 1 of Shakugan no Shana. Took 4 years to actually do it. I love a lot of the theme songs in the series along with some Shana figures I've seen... So, I feel obligated to watch at least some of it. And i had been meaning to. Anyway, it's decent so far. Nothing amazing but not bad. Let's see if i can make it through 3 seasons and OVAs.

I liked the first series of Shana, which is all I've seen. I remember the villains being effectively creepy and the show having a few interesting ideas. But it also has some pretty significant problems you have to look past, especially in the later parts of that first series?

I'm currently watching The Rose of Versailles and am pretty into it. I really like the setting, the characters, the drama... THEY JUST DON'T MAKE 'EM LIKE THIS ANYMORE. In my backlog I have the 1980s Tetsuwan Atom (Astro Boy) and first series of Sailor Moon on laserdisc, both in raw Japanese. I'm looking forward to those! I also took advantage of Right Stuf's Funimation sale to order Lupin III: The Woman called Fujiko Mine and the third Case Closed/Detective Conan movie.

Kaleido Star is more entertaining (and far more funny) than I thought it was going to be.
