The Xbox has much better launch titles than the PS4.

I hope there is never a SKU w/o Kinect.

Agreed. I think that if the new kinect is dramatically better than the first, it could really add a lot to games.

You know it. More devs will be compelled to use it if they are guaranteed that 100% of their customers have the accessory. Whether or not the users use the Kinect for said features is up to them.
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

Now as for the Xbox One, I shall wait until the system is $250 and the games I want are $20-$40.

I don't see how the X1 can be any worse than the 360, and when I say worse I mean that literally because I think the 360 is a good system.

I get the impression that the X1 will probably have more exclusives (possibly 1st/2nd party), and will likely share a large bulk of the multiplat work between it PC, and PS4 (with Wii-U as oddman out again).

It'll be interesting to see if the Kinect will take a turn for the better. As much as people like to insult motion controls, the Wii ended up getting quite a few good games where motion controls worked fine or even enhanced the experience. I wonder if the Kinect will have a legitimate good game at least with in the first 2 years.

I'm not the most creative myself, but I like the idea of it. For example, I think Steel Battalion had a lot of potential. If it had actually worked, it might have been a cool game and an interesting use of kinect. Or maybe a game like Watchdogs having hacking sections where you actively move pieces of code together or piece together videos ala Minority Report. I also feel the simple act of leaning to look around a corner would add a subtle bit of immersion to some games. The voice recognition Software for Kinect is also excellent and works very well. Heck, I even like the idea of it pulling up my account and logging me in when I tell it to turn on. To me that is an enhancement to the whole console/gaming experience. Needed? Probably not, but it's still cool.

The nice thing is that adding these touches can add a little something to a game. Developers can (and should) make a lot of them optional, but they are more likely to try new things since they know a bigger audience (all users) will have the device available to them.

@Violent by Design

I really do not think the X1 is any different from the PS4 except for few exclusives here and there, I think the reason that many people are going for the ps4 is because the PS3 kept a good image in their minds. It has the free online, Bluray Player, solid build quality, no RROD, I can be wrong but it ended up having more exclusives and maybe the best of graphics on ps3 beats the best graphics of 360. All of this in addition to the news of forced Kinect, 24 online connection, and the no swapping games thing made people just hate on the Xbox. Its more marketing thing than anything else.. If you ask a person who have never heard of both systems to make a choice, I think in the end he will make up his mind based on aesthetics of the console and nothing else.

@Opa Opa

Maybe some one creative can use it, but I find out that calling stuff like "Defense" and "Offense" in sport games is probably a better control input than using a physical control. Also it will be fun to see the referee giving you a red card if you start swearing, or your opponent in a wrestling ring gets furious if you call his mother names making the fight more difficult. I can see uses for it like calling backup for example. I think its best used as a complementary input not a main one. i think the camera might work best for stuff like magic in games, where you have to move your finger in a certain motion to put on a spell for example.

Can Ubisoft give us a kinnect Pole Dancing game now? It would be a nice follow up at my orgies after we use We Dare as a starting activity.
