Wii-U thoughts so far
Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
Hmm I don't remember the camera at all. Must not have done it very much or something.
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

It was a sidequest. I am just miffed that the physical release is so far away.Stark wrote:Hmm I don't remember the camera at all. Must not have done it very much or something.

Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
I got my new WiiU unboxed and opened. Argued with Nintendo over the phone and couldn't get my account transferred. (Some people have had success lying about being press, didn't work for me).
Anyways, new profile isn't too different.

If, at some point Nintendo allows me to use my old account I will be switching back to that, but it seems for at least the foreseeable future this will be my account.

Bummer. I'm in the same boat until Ninty fixes their ridonkulous transfer nonsense. My Wind Waker Edition is slated to arrive on Monday. Wee! I'll probably end up keeping my launch unit for sentimental reasons anyway.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:I got my new WiiU unboxed and opened. Why not just sink the new controller to your older U?
Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
That's not a bad idea. As far as I can tell, there's no difference with the actual console itself.Octopod wrote:Why not just sink the new controller to your older U?

I got my Zelda edition last night, set it up and played Super Luigi U a bit. Beat the first world, and it was awesome. The game pad is indeed nice and light as everyone says, but its still a bit awkward because of its size. I forgot to buy a pro controller, but I'm gonna need to do that soon.
Setting up a new system sure is a laborious process nowadays though. I'm not talking plugging it in, I'm talking the 20 minutes of profiles, settings, and internet connections after you power on, and that doesn't account for the system update I had to download. Good lord.

Then again the first thing I played on my Fire Emblem 3DS was the Mii Plaza so I'm far worse

I hadn't thought of that, but I can't argue with the truth!
