GazongaJoe wrote:True story about The Olive Garden. I worked at the one in my hometown during High School and I was in the prep area with a co-worker when he bet me $20 to piss in the alfredo sauce that was being made while the prep guy wasn't there. I obviously refused and went to the cooler to make salad bins. When I came out he was propped up on a box pissing in the barrel of alfredo and mixing it in with the ladle telling me I owed him $20 though we never shook on it. I was in awe but went about my business and he later got fired for different reasons and I quit soon afterwards. At the time I was a dumb pot-head high school kid and actually found it kindof funny which is why I didn't say anything because he was a friend and would've been totally screwed. But yeah. There's chain restaraunts for you.

If you want to maintain an incredible relationship with someone who is a part of the American workforce: leave them alone for at least a half hour when they get back from work.
A kiss, a hug, and let them relax.
Yes, women do want you to ask them "How was your day?" but it can wait for a half hour. Same for men. Let us relax and unwind.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
I've never really seen Olive Garden as that bad.
How personal is dancing? I feel dancing is something quite a bit more personal than some make it out, especially my preferred way. I like to hold the girl up against my body, I can dance better that way. Some people don't see it as that personal though, such as some of my friends, who thought it was horrible I was turning down their girlfriends to dance with. I don't get that, I'd be at least a bit peeved if I had a girlfriend and she danced with other guys, even if they were my friends.

Dancing is about as personal as you make it...but that goes for both partners.

Bingo. It can be both casual or intimate. Just depends on the situation.Valkyrie-Favor wrote:Dancing is about as personal as you make it...but that goes for both partners.

I just can't help but see it as personal really. I'm holding someone close enough to my body that I can feel their breath on my neck, and my hand is on her lower back. That seems awfully personal to me, but everybody else makes it out like its no big deal.
Someone compared it to a hug, but I don't see that one. I'll hug another man, but I won't dance with another man.
