@beatnix

I'm playing Wario Blast right now and it's a lot of fun. Give it a shot! If you put it in a Super Game Boy there is multiplayer.

I was gonna give both GB games a run in the super game boy tonight. I've never played either.

If all the furniture and stuff is included, that's a really good deal.
yeah, it's all inclusive. believe me i've thought about it. i could PROBABLY get the business loan for it, but i have so much going on right now that i couldn't devote the time needed to keep it afloat and i wouldn't want to half-ass it. it's also located in a western suburb about 35-45 minutes from me, which wouldn't be a fun commute, especially since i'd likely be driving back and forth multiple times a day at first.

i also don't know what the lease is like on the place he's got, what his overhead costs are like, what his current revenue stream looks like, and just because he says he has $25K in inventory, is that the value or his asking prices? so many variables and questions.

but. so tempting. owning and operating a game store is one of my life's dreams.

Why not just buy the inventory then?

From the listing it looks like he wants to sell the business as a whole highly doubt he will part with much of the inventory. However you might want to pop him a message asking if you can view the inventory and would be interested in buying a portion of it. Depending on how desperate he is for cash that might work.

If you are considering purchasing the business however I highly recommend visiting with the staff since it seems like he wishes for them to continue working their after selling his ownership. Employees can make or break a business and you want to be sure they aren't just buddies of the owners who have no sales experience but needed a job :P.

$150 each for both seems like a good price. just need to replace the monitor and add games..

I saw that one last night, $150 isnt too bad, but a monitor is a huge turn off on a cab for me, seeing buying and shipping one is not cheap. Also, both cabs are conversions, not original Neo-Geo cabs.

@Stark

$400 for a working Neo-Geo , thats like an amazing price , right?

@aaron

That store's price sounds too good to be true. $12K for a full shop, My 11 year old car is worth more than that. Something smells fishy... maybe the store is in a secluded area or you have to buy it and pay some loans on the business. How come he has $25k in inventory but wants to sell the whole thing for $12k ? The fact that no one picked up this already makes me feel even more suspicious .

Then again, good offers are the ones that are too good to be true. I also did not believe such prices exist, but I can tell you from personal experience I have seen people sell things for jaw-dropping prices. Way out of topic, but I know of a guy that sold his car for at least $20k under market value. Do not ask me why, I just learned these things happen. (Last I heard, the new owner made something like $15K on same or next day sale)

It really depends on the game included, but that is just a good price.
