No, it was not that terrible Heroes of the Lance either. This one was great. It played almost like a shmup. You pick a Bronze, Silver, or Gold dragon, each with different levels of attributes (I used Gold) and set out on a series of missions, destroying and defeating enemy dragons, ships, structures, etc. Your dragon can change altitude to hit and avoid air and ground targets. Many of these missions also have boss battles with some really nice artwork and huge characters. The length is also reasonable, but don't believe it when you think you might be on the last stage. Also to note, it was developed by Westwood Associates, who became Westwood Studios and were famous for many great 90s RTS like Dune II and the Command & Conquer series.
