One Naomi game that I had wanted to make its way to the DC was Jambo! Safari. I play that anywhere I find it.

There was a brief mention of shmups here - one of my best pickups was Mars Matrix. Got it at a pretty decent price last year ($40) and not only was it like new, it even had the original Gamestop receipt from 2003 in the manual, just $12.99 used

Nice collection. :)

It's Eternal Arcadia, I can say with almost complete certainty that there was no Skies Limited Edition. In fact, I can't think of any Limited Edition releases in the west at all -- the only ones I can think of were Japanese exclusives through Sega Direct. I have a US version of the game (same goes for Sonic Adventure 2) from back when the Dreamcast was on the market, but didn't think I should list both. It's a very neat little collection though, really happy to own it!

Thank you! :D

I'd like to own and play Skies of Arcadia one day. I like the look of the Eternal Arcadia collectors set - very cool!

Fast Striker 1.5 just arrived and I've played it a few times. Excellent game! Superb music and pacing and a really simple and fun game to play. Worth a go even if you're not a shmupaholic!

I think today, 9/9, is an excellent day to chill, celebrate the Dreamcast, and play my favorite game of Sonic Adventure

One of the first lines I read is:

Skies of Arcadia
One of the first RPGs to be made in full polygon 3D

That doesn't really inspire a lot of confidence in the validity of the facts and details in this book. How many RPGs were on PS1 before the Dreamcast even launched that used full 3D polygons?

Well... was there an RPG on the PS1 that was nearly fully 3D polygonal based as opposed to jaggy polygon models running about in 2D pre rendered backdrops?

King's Field and Grandstream Saga come to mind immediately.

I immeadiatly thought of Legend of Legaia and King's Field 1 & 2 when I read that. And the King's Field games were early PS1.

Well that was a serious question on my regards. Haven't touched a 32 bit era RPG in a LONG time.
