I can't help but think of "Eww, Buzz, your girlfriend!. Woof!*" anytime I pick Buzz in Pit-Fighter.
*Buzz's girlfriend is actually a dude in Home Alone.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
This PS2 was manufactured in 2011. That just seems so weird to me.
Also, I'm enjoying what I've played (read: watched) of Xenosaga so far. It's not going to win an award by any means but its pace and reliance on giant amounts of cut scenes make it great to play while messing around on the internet at the same time.
It is today I also have learned that my TV's deinterlacing isn't bad by any stretch of the imagination.

You know what would be cool? A controller with face buttons that can light up. I don't know how specifically a game would use that feature but I bet developers could figure some way to use that gimmick.

People have done MAME cabinets with illuminated buttons that are software controlled. For example, it could be programmed so that games will light up only whatever buttons they needed.BoringSupreez wrote:You know what would be cool? A controller with face buttons that can light up. Any game with QTE sequences. I like your idea a lot.BoringSupreez wrote:A controller with face buttons that can light up. I don't know how specifically a game would use that feature....

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Speaking of controllers and shiz.....
I was thinking the other day that some modder (is that a word?) should create a Commodore 64 controller with a D-pad and two action buttons. Remove "up" from the D-pad and map it to one of the action buttons. That would allow you to play platformers with "proper" NES/SMS style controls, not the crappy up-for-jump joystick controls.

That's actually not that hard of a thing to do.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Speaking of controllers and shiz.....

Yeah, that is a great idea. Maybe add a little rumble to it, so you can feel when to press the lit button, too.Luke wrote:Any game with QTE sequences.
