They're still plenty of fun, they're just not as good as the first.

I remember playing Jak II years back and it just didn't click with me. It wasn't bad, I just didn't like it.

I'm playing Kingsley's Adventure (PSone) for the first time. I just finished Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time and it was great.

The Sly series is the best of the PS2's big three platformer franchises for me though, and is making a come back with the recent Thieves in Timetoo.

The Jak series isn't even worth bothering with IMO
Forgot that existed, should pick it up sometime. How's the Vita version?

I liked Jak and Dexter, didn't like where the series went from there though. -_-
The Vita version of Sly 4 is excellent. There are some very small compromises made compared to the PS3 version, like the touch screen being used for some things due to the Vita having less buttons than the PS3 version, but it's essentially the same game and the same experience playing it on the Vita. I've heard some people say there are some compromises to the graphics, but that they are very hard to even notice. Honestly, I've not heard anyone who has played the Vita version come away from it unimpressed. They did a good job. The cross save feature is great. It'll transfer all your save data and it'll even create a new trophy list with all the ones you got on the PS3 version already unlocked. So you can basically get two platinums for this game while only having to play through it once.

I wish more games would do cross buy and cross play. A lot of people are loving Dragon's Crown so much on the Vita with its touch controls that they're saying they feel like it was designed for that platform

Guacamelee and Hotline Miami are also excellent on the Vita

I'm kind of thinking Sly might stand out the most for myself as well. Maybe I'll get the Jak and Sly collections soon and check out the first games to both after beating R&C1.

I've played through several levels of Puppeteer now, and it's a remarkable game.

I actually just bought Sly 4 for $10 on Newegg. So I might start playing that sometime soon.

I'm working my way through all the N64 platformers that aren't Mario, Banjo or DK. I'm on Chameleon Twist now and it's a cute, charming game with some "innovation" I guess.

I'm enjoying it quite a bit, although it's not hard to please me when it comes to platformers. I love Gex 2 and 3 for heaven's sake.

Were they bad? I have great memories of the Gex games, but I haven't touched them in a decade.
