I decided to look up a review for 007 Legends and what I found was basically that it's not as good as Call of Duty so it sucks. Literally, one reviewer said something like, "The new Call of Duty is coming out next month, so just get that instead."
It's a James Bond mash up, probably designed to be more fun rather than super realistic. I wouldn't expect anything more from it. Cheesy at times, feel like you're just mashing the shoot button at times, etc. But is this the world we live in today, where if a FPS isn't CoD than it's just not a good game? Comparing games in reviews is OK, but it just seemed like one review in particular was centered around the fact that it wasn't CoD.

Call of duty is designed to be more fun rather than super realistic. America's Army and ARMA2 are designed to be realistic.
That aside, I say that we should stone the reviewer
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

I've not played Legends so I can't comment on that, but have you tried Blood Stone? I thought it was very fun.
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

Seconded.
My hopes are so high for the second movie.
Speaking of things I never tire of, why isn't there more sci fi games? As many as there are, they seem under represented. (Similarly with most of the gritty or realistic style Fantasy Games.)
I'm interested in both of those styles, and would like more. I figured out looking for my fantasy and sci fi kicks in music isn't the best option.

uh... sci fi is probably the single most abundant setting for a video game.
My favorite settings are the cliche D&D swords&sorcery fantasy type setting and steampunk. Not crazy about the "spacey" sci-fi type of setting. Phantasy Star rules though.
