They just sent me an email claiming that Atlus did not have the license so they were refunding my money

I looked at the beginning of this thread thinking, huh lets see what this is. Looked up the game and it looked fun. Moved on over to Amazon and a new copy was $220.00. "That's not $19.99!". Now I know why. :(

Months ago I got a GameStop in (if I remember correctly) California to send a CIB copy to my local shop. I think I paid $18.00 after tax for it. This was during the same time I was picking up the Shadow Hearts and .Hack series'.

That sucks. I was hoping to one day be able to afford this one again. I guess the price will be staying high.

Sorry for you guys wanting to try it. Hooray for my copy retaining value.

It really is just a mediocre game anyway. My wife loved Silent Hill games, so I suggested it to her and I think she received it as a gift. So technically it is her copy and not mine haha.
