Every kickstarter I backed was delayed and only one has paid out so I am very jaded on backing them, though I love to see what is happening with them.
This is my exact view on Kickstarting. With the caveat that very rarely I will back if I really want a special edition or something. I usually wait until the last few days to back, because if they blew through their goal I won't bother.

The only specials I see that really entice me are on boardgames. Things like Ogre DE and Reaper Bones were way to good to pass on.

And Ogre would be one of the delayed ones, kinda ridiculous on that one actually. Looks amazing though, can't wait. We should have more boardgame discussions on here!

You cannot understand the size until you see it in person. I had seen all the pictures and watched the opening video, but when I saw it at Dragoncon, it was still a moment of awe. I mean it is big and heavy, really big and heavy.

Back on topic, man that looks amazing. I love the voxel look. One of my favorite parts about Kentucky Route Zero. Reminds me of Sword and Sworcery as well.

Mutant League Football anybody?

It will have a 2d version for iOS, Android, XBLA, and PC right off the bat. If they make a unknown number a 3d version for PC and Xbox180 will be coming out aswell.

It's funny how they chose games to portray the experience of the creative director "Known from such classics as: BattleTanx.. Army Men Sarge's Heroes............ Hip Hop Trivia"

Not gonna donate but I'm excited to try it out once it's released if it gets kickstarted.
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box
