My Short List:
1990-1995: Carrier Air Wing or 19XX: The War Against Destiny
1996-2000: Dimahoo or Mars Matrix: Hyper Solid Shooting
2001-2005: Progear or Zero Gunner 2
2006-2010: Raiden IV
Racket STGT Nov. 2013 - COLUMBIAN HI-BALLERS teh CHAMPS!
Re: Racket STGT Nov. 2013 - Teams announced, still time to j
Omerta's Picks:
1990: Metallic Uniframe Super Hybrid Armor (Genesis, Wii Virtual Console)
1999: Guwange (Arcade, i-mode, Yahoo! Mobile, Xbox Live Arcade)
2005: Under Defeat (Arcade, Dreamcast, Playstation 3)
2012: Sine Mora (Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 3, Steam, OUYA, iOS, Android)
I realize that Sine Mora falls outside the archaic and authoritarian year limits imposed by the leader of the Hezzbullets, but Team Ramrod does not negotiate with terrorists.

Yeah, so I've had a change of heart, that was in no way influenced by any information I've just learned of moments ago, and would like to change my pick to Under Defeat.noiseredux wrote:You know that mjmjr25 is like in the top 5 or 10 players of UD... in the world, right?Omerta wrote: 2005: Under Defeat (Arcade, Dreamcast, Playstation 3)

At least we'll know for sure that we're playing that game when he "randomly" picks them.noiseredux wrote:You know that mjmjr25 is like in the top 5 or 10 players of UD... in the world, right?
In all seriousness, I tried to come up with a list of games that were available on several platforms including current gen stuff for a quick cheap download. I'd have focused more on Dreamcast games because of the machine's ability to read CD-Rs, but most of them are in the same era. I'm not into emulation, so I'm not sure what works well and what doesn't on MAME (yet). I was trying to provide some alternatives.
Have I been sleeping or has it even been decided how the games are going to be selected? Vote? Edict from our benevolent dictator? Either way, the odds are against UD since we're only playing 4 games out of the 4 suggestions multiplied by 20+ players.

Well, as much as I appreciate the homey noiseredux's props, i'm not top 5 or 10...I am #34 as of last week though on PSN leaderboards - so as much as I love that game, i'm hopeful something else prevails.
