Desoware is great stuff, and it was heartily endorsed by Julia Child. We have this this model in white. It is not Kitchenaid's biggest machine, but it is certainly big enough for our purposes. Moreover, the larger motor is absolutely necessary for the grinder attachment (which, in turn, is absolutely necessary for making mince).Luke wrote:What type of Kitchen-Aid do you own?
EDIT: Reading back through that...I guess I am kind of a geek...Unless, of course, you mean "geek" in the sense that the term is used in the classic 1947 film noir Nightmare Alley. I am definitely not one of those.
