You guys were definitely right about R&C Going Commando, dabbed into it and pretty much instantly liking it way more than the first game. The controls and just everything about it are very refined and awesome now.

Such a better game, isn't it? Better weapons, better level design, better writing. Opinions vary but I liked the third game even better, so keep going.

Hell yeah, Going Commando is where the series really got its legs.

I'm not sure. At the time of release I liked Up Your Arsenal better than its predecessor, but later my opinion started to change. I didn't like the multiplayer much, there were no rail grinding segments (at least that I remember), and if I remember right it was shorter. Still a great game and a worthy successor.

I really really really liked Tools of Destruction. A lot of people didn't like it as much as 2 and 3.

I would be one of those people, and same goes for Crack in Time. The graphics got a lot better on PS3 and the gameplay remained solid, but it felt like it lost some of its soul. Cheesy sci-fi music (which fit perfectly) was replaced by more boring orchestral stuff, the humor was lessened, and the stories became more serious. I liked the rude Saturday morning cartoon feel the PS2 titles had. Maybe Insomniac was trying to make the games grow up with the fans? I guess I didn't mature alongside them.

I have so many mixed feelings about the Nintendo 64.

I've concluded I can't really judge the console properly until I try a few imports. Sin & Punishment, Wonder Project J2, and the Shiren Mystery Dungeon game are the ones that look most interesting to me.

I totally understand...there are huge gaps in the N64 library and it is hard to find few high quality games that fulfill those gaps, especially with the American releases. Check out those imports, you will find good stuff.

All I gotta say is, I wish they released Mother 3 on that system. Would have been really cool.

You mean EarthBound 64? 8)

Yeah, if it had been as good as the GBA version ended up being (one of the best games of all time) then my opinion of the N64 would go up by miles.

I really wish we had gotten a Final Fantasy game on the N64 too..... I'm sure everyone remembers this..........
