Are You a Geek?

Re: Are You a Geek?
Do you shop at Ross for great deals on slacks?
Have you recently not tipped the Applebee's waiter over 20%?
Did you recently use a public restroom?
Are you guilty of having really, really, really, really old meat in your freezer?
Does the list of your bucketlist contain "Live to see the Justice League Movie!!!"
Are sandals Geeky, cause I don't wear them.
Can geeks wear suits and/or a top hat?

Why do you ask? I don't understand where you are gong with this line of questioning...

That's what i'm thinking. I was thought there was going to be a evaluation of geek or not based on your answers.prfsnl_gmr wrote:Why do you ask? I don't understand where you are gong with this line of questioning...

SOMEONE around here has to be purchasing clothes from a Ross. Cato, Marshalls, or Shoe Carnival.

Re: Are You a Geek?
Cars and car parts. Especially American and Japanese cars. Don't care much for European cars, but I'll still read up on them. I go to all major car shows and racing events in California and Japan and have been to all circuits in both places. From Laguna Seca to Suzuka. From Thunder Hill to Tsukuba.
I spend excessive amounts of time researching aftermarket parts and track strategies. Just 2 nights ago I had drinks with some old team mates from when I lived in Japan. We spent almost 3 hours just talking about ONE CORNER of the local track (Sendai Hi-Land). Strategies on how to attack the said corner with different types of cars, gear ratios, tires, suspension, wheel size, weather conditions, etc.
I had two track-only cars in the past and recently been thinking on teaming up with some old track buddies to build another. We just cant agree on how it should be built! Gaming is a MUCH cheaper hobby.

Re: Are You a Geek?
I'm pretty obsessed with track & field - I watch all the pro meets and dig up old stuff on YouTube. Used to coach kids, I'd like to get back into that someday. I have tons of times and stats in my head, down to the 100th of a second.
Re: Are You a Geek?
Every time I've been to Ross (all of about 4 times) it looks like they just got hit by a tornado. Although, I did manage to get a Patriots themed tumbler cup for $3 one time.Luke wrote:Dagnabit!
