Lost Vikings had the best passwords of all time. They're abbreviations of the level themes.

Cavern level = CVRN
Volcano level = VLCN
Quicksand level = QCKS

and so on............

260 characters. Multiple screens of text. Fortunately, they were smart enough to not use 1, l, I, 0, O, and o. Only very clearly differentiable characters were used.

This is the option for people who dont have access to 2 game boy advances and a link cable. There are also 2 much shorter passwords that can be used that transfer less stuff.

The transfer password lets you pass your characters from Golden Sun 1 to Golden Sun 2, including all levels, spells, items, djinn, money and anything else like that. The medium password (roughly quarter of the size) doesnt send items, but transfers the rest, and the shortest password just transfers characters and djinn. If you don't do the transfer, the first game characters come back much lower levelled, and with only 20 of the possible 28 djinn, making the bonus superboss of Golden Sun 2 inaccessible. There are also a few references to the first game that appear if you do a transfer of some sort.

You only have to use the password ONCE. And that's if you want to transfer all of your character data from the original Golden Sun to the sequel. It's optional, but makes the sequel much more enjoyable.

You can link together to GBAs instead. That's actually what I did.

After how many Shift codes I put in for Borderlands 2 the golden sun password seems like a breeze...

I recently did this code. And I still got my 1's and I's mixed up. Such a pain in the ass.

- Taz-Mania was fun, quit hatin'
- Tiny Toons on the SNES rocks
- Skyblazer is a hidden SNES gem
- Top Gear on the SNES had good passwords (actual words!)
- and yes, I rented Bubsy too. Couldn't get past Level 9, but tried many times!
