Sorry, I forgot the price of the Vita slim. What are they saying it will go for?

I recently traded mine in towards my PS4, immediately (well, actually a few days later) regretted it and have been wanting a new one since,

Also, Vita TV will be awesome. However, is this confirmed for NA yet? You guys know how JP gets awesome stuff all the time that we seem to get passed by on.

Lastly, what games do you guys see as being incompatible with the Vita TV? Destructoid says it won't work with games that require touch screen input. I know that most if not all games allow touch screen controls, but I don't know any games that require it.

I think it was around $190 USD. Converted from yen. No idea what the US price would be. Maybe $200. maybe $180?

There is no guarantee the Vita TV will make it, but the 64GB card and Vita revision will most definitely be available here.

I have one game that definitely will not be compatible. DJMAX Technika Tune. You need to touch the right spot on the screen at the right time, in time with the music. It's just not possible to do that w/ Vita TV. But it would be potentially cool if you could at least stream footage from a regular Vita to the Vita for games like this when friends are over.

Uncharted has touch controls, but I don't know if they are required. The Walking Dead touch controls wouldn't be compatible but it also offers a mode with no touch. Games that use the rare touch pad as additional shoulder buttons could easily be patched or have software to allow you to map those functions to a DS3 controller. Just like you can map the right analog stick on the Vita to replace L/R shoulder button camera controls on PSP games.

Vita TV would be neat for PSP games. I really curious, especially at that price point.

Vita TV is the only thing that has made me interested in Vita to this point. I actually would like to see more mini consoles like this.

For example the Nintendo 2DS really should of been an add on for the Wii U using the GamePad as the second screen.

How would that be a mini console? Plus that would mean you'd have to pay around 400€ for a 3DS console (yeah you get a Wii U too, but what if you are only interested in 3DS games only and not Wii U games?).

I believe Vita TV plays vita games without the need of a PS4. So it is a vita without controls and screen but with an hdmi out.

Would be nice if the Vita itself just had an HDMI out. It has an unused "accessory port" that could be a video out. Would work the same as the Vita TV but obviously a little more expensive. And could ALSO support the ability to use a DS3 controller via bluetooth.

I'm aware thanks.

It was just an observation/comparison. Or maybe just a 3DS that isn't an attachment but you need the GamePad. For $99 I'm betting the Vita TV does not come with a controller either, it is meant to be a companion, hooked up with the PS4 or not.

I'm seriously considering getting rid of my Vita and getting one of these instead. Just concerned with how I'll be able to play Tearaway or Gravity Rush with it in the future. They say they'll be updating it to work with the DS4 but will that be enough?
