Magical Quest is a Capcom/Disney standard, by far. Perfect in every way.Ack wrote:What do you guys think of the SNES Disney platformers? Aladdin, Jungle Book, Pinocchio, Hook, Mickey Mania, The Magical Quest, and The Great Circus Mystery? And what do you think of them when compared to the Looney Tunes games like Porky's Haunted Holiday, Rabbit Rampage, Los Gatos Bandidos, and The Marvin Missions?
I thought those Sunsoft Looney Tunes games were all right. They all had nice graphics and captured their serie(s) very well. Rabbit Rampage and Taz-Mania (where's that one?) I enjoyed.

Haha, I didn't include Taz-Mania because it's a weird pseudo-racing game in my opinion. I also left out titles like Acme Animation Factory.ExedExes wrote:Magical Quest is a Capcom/Disney standard, by far. I remember getting a Tiny Toons mini game collection on the SNES....that one got sold off as fast as a spin dash.
I remember the NES Tiny Toons game being really good though. Was there ever a port of that for the SNES?

Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose is a really, really fun game. It is way better than both of the admittedly good NES games.ZeroAX wrote:I remember getting a Tiny Toons mini game collection on the SNES....that one got sold off as fast as a spin dash.

Do you play the entire game as Buster? Cause I remember one of the greatest things about the NES game were the multiple characters with different abilities.prfsnl_gmr wrote: Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose is a really, really fun game. To my knowledge, yes. But I also have to admit that I still prefer the NES games.ZeroAX wrote:Do you play the entire game as Buster? There's also a Mega Drive version.

Kind of reminds me of Sonic. Looks pretty sweet too. I should get both games.

You should. They are both a lot of fun, even if you do have to play as Buster the whole time.ZeroAX wrote:There's also a Mega Drive version.

Re: How Is Your SNES Gaming Going?
Disney wins for me -- Magical Quest and Great Circus Mystery are fantastic, Aladdin is good, and Mickey Mania is incredible to just look at, some of the best graphics on the SNES. There's something about Mickey games in general that I like, I even like Mickey's Dangerous Chase for Game Boy and still play it occasionally.Ack wrote:What do you guys think of the SNES Disney platformers? The only Looney Tunes games I remember really enjoying are Tiny Toons Adventures and Death Valley Rally. I remember being disappointed with Rabbit Rampage but I barely remember playing it.
