Yeah, I figured that, and prefer the real buttons to swiping. Either way, it's something I'm happy to see.

Definitely. And the Vita TV's ability to stream PS4 games to other TVs in the house seems interesting. But I have my doubts that it'll be good for any games that require very little input lag/quick reflexes.

I like vita tv for playing psp and vita titles on the tv. A bit pricy though as an option instead of some sort of video out on vita itself.

Not a fan of the new vita revision. I love the oled screen. The screen doesn't auto dim when I am actively playing it so it hasn't bothered me.

Re Killzone: I don't think I'll be getting it right off the bat. With COD Ghosts right around the corner I'd probably rather get that for my fps fix.

Re revision: Seems like a good budget option. The LCD screen seems like a step down though. I don't believe I'll be selling my normal model any time soon.

Re Vita Tv: Awesome. I'd rather play vita games on a tv anyway. I wonder what their solution will be for games that require the touchscreen.

All I can say is that it definitely auto dims during cutscenes in The Walking Dead. Could also be a programming issue. That game is great but very poorly programmed.

Definitely interested in the Vita news. Vita TV seems like it was made for me since I hardly ever play my handhelds anywhere but my room. Lol

Need some more details before I decide. Wonder how the scaling is...hmmm.

So they are releasing a weaker PS3 with barely any games on it.....who is the Vita TV for exactly? (don't answer for us, we'd buy anything and we are hardly a viable market)

Of course if the PS Vita gets better support it would be a lovely solution, but for about 70€ I can get a free game and a screen for my console and turn it portable, so I think I would still pick the real Vita over this.

EDIT

Oh wait it plays PSP and PS1 games? I'm in :D

I don't know, if it releases for $99 or so I might have to get one.

I have to agree though... I can't see the market for this thing being huge.

Well, it'd be about $100 and come with a DS3 (which retail for $50 on their own). It will have access to digital PSP games, indie games, PS1 classics, digital and physical Vita games, and will be a cheap way to get streaming video services for some people.

I think it's a decent enough idea with the exception of the memory cards. The fact that it doesn't have more internal memory or at least support USB storage is the only flaw in my eyes.
