Dude, I'm not even going to let me WIFE be on my team. Weddings don't mean shit in STGT.

I thought we agreed you'd stop calling me that! :x

We could do Random Assignment.

:) :)

---

Or, we could select team leaders. Pick a drafting order. And then let them draft players form the player pool, one player at a time, until each team is full, or all the players are gone.

---

Or, we could select team leaders. And then let them bid for the rest of the players in the pool--EXCEPT they bid for players by giving up points they speculate that they will earn in the tournament. The winning bids (for each player) will end up acting as a handy cap against that team's final point total, affecting their team's standings.

(In theory, leaders should be bidding bigger for players they think will score Higher for their team; however, the higher they Bid for each player, the larger the Negative Point Adjustment their team will receive at the end of the Tournament. And it's the negative point adjustment that should should bring the teams closer together, somewhat, in the standings.)

So, if ninjainspandex were selected as a team leader. And he bid One-Million points to get hashiriya1 on his team. And no other leader bid higher. Then hash would be on this team; however, One-Million points would be deducted form Team ninjainspandex's final point total. So, if at the end of the tourney, ninja's team scored 50 Million points, then his team's score would be adjusted down, to 49 Million. And if he bid another 1 Million for foxhound1022 (and won) then his team's final score would drop down another 1 Mill, to 48 Million. Now, on the other hand, if my mjmjr25's team only scored 49 million in the end, but mike only bid 250k for each of his two team mates, then his team's final score would would adjusted down to 48.5 Million in the Final Standings.
