How is your post-Sega console Sega games going?

Post by SonicEchoes »

I'm a relatively new user, so I hope this question hasn't been asked too recently.

I am a pretty hardcore Sega fan so after the Dreamcast, I've been playing different games published by or developed by Sega. Recently, I picked up Valkyria Chronicles and beat it and it was amaazzzzing. I am sadden that 2 is for PSP and 3 never came out here in the US.

Right now I am giving Resonance of Fate a chance (mostly due to Project X Zone) and I am at the second chapter. It's VERY difficult and I have no idea what I am doing but I am enjoying the sort of slice-of-life type of story so far. I enjoy the complexity of the battle system.

I also recently bought Sakura Wars So Long My Love.. will get around to it soon. Again, Project X Zone made me want to try it.

What post-Sega console Sega games are worth picking up and which ones are you guys/gals currently trying out? (minus the obvious good Sonic games, i.e Sonic Colors, Generation, etc.)

That game is incredible, it only makes me sad that many of those characters haven't been in a new game for years. It's like they took them out of retirement.

I went nuts when I saw you can use Vyse and Aika in Valkyria Chronicles!

Yeah me too. Though Vyse's accent was a major turn off :(. Also why no Fina?

You should really try out the Yakuza series. I just started the first one on the PS2 and it's really good

Fina is the unnamed Medic who comes and rescues a downed soldier. It took me a while to realize it was her.

Another game I am considering for post-Sega console is the GunValkerie or something like that for the Xbox, kinda reminds me of Burning Rangers a bit.
