how has no one mentioned Megaman and Bass/Rockman and Forte yet?? I got a cart for $30 and of course the game is import friendly. I can't believe that game came out in 1998, seems super late.

I worry about listing prices, since they change constantly and vary widely by not only time but by source.

Yu Yu Hakusho 2 is A straight up fighting game, so it fits your list. The first game is a text-heavy RPGish fighter.
All Sailor Moon games except "Another Story" (RPG) are beat-em-ups and fighting games. I believe there is the first game, then "R". Sailor Moon S and Super S are the fighting games. There is also Sailor Moon S Puzzle. I have never played the puzzle game, so I don't know if it's English-friendly.
You might want to add Ranma 1/2 Chounai Gekitou and Ranma 1/2 Bakuretsu Rantou. They are fighters. I don't know how much they go for, though. Ranma 1/2 Akanekodan is an RPG, so be careful.
As for Dragon Ball, the Super Butouden series and Hyper Dimension are fighting games with light text. The other DBZ games are RPGs.

I JUST picked up that game a few days ago for 200 yen! Kinda dirty but totally worth the price.
I didn't mention it because I thought it also got a US release. I'm not too keen on US SNES releases, so I could be totally wrong.

you know what you could do is take a hairdryer and heat up the label and it lifts right off and then take a SFC game you don't care about that has a minty shell. Swap the PCB's and the labels and then you have a minty copy of that game for a great price. unless of course thats just dirt and not yellowing, then just give it a good cleaning.

It's just dirt. I'll clean it up once I get back to CA. Thanks for the tip, though. I'll try it on other games and this one too, if the dirt doesn't come off.
About the US release, found out it was released in the US...but on GBA.

Meant as a barometer only (not a guide) - certainly condition and current climate can change one way or the other, but these are a good indicator of ballpark.
That said - SFC has held pretty steady for 3-4 straight years, very little fluctuation in any of those prices, unlike SNES.

Yes, all 3 made it out here, though some with changes. They are, in order:
Rival Turf
Brawl Brothers
Peace Keepers

Ranma 1/2: Chounai Gekitou Hen was mangled into Street Combat. Ranma 1/2 : Bakuretsu Rantou Hen made it here as Ranma 1/2 Hard Battle. Ranma 1/2 : Chougi Ranbu Hen did not make it out here though, usually translated with the sub Super Battle. That's the third and best of the SFami Ranma 1/2 fighting games.
Battle Pinball - Super Robot Taisen themed pinball.
Cosmo Gang The Video - Cute em up version of Space Invaders of sorts.
Cotton 100%
Flying Hero - cute em up.
Jaki Crush - Third in the Crush pinball trilogy after Alien Crush and Devil Crush/Crash/Dragon's Fury.
Macross Scrambled Valkyrie - shmup

may I suggest Gunmans Proof? I actually love it so much i had a repro cart made of this translated into english. I imagine it would be pretty playable in japanese might need to consult an FAQ from time to time. It's gameplay is a pure Zelda Link to the Past and it feels like an Earthbound game, really cool. here is some gameplay, it really is a hidden gem on the snes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3iwVttGZUo
carts seem pretty cheap http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/offer-listin ... ition=used

That would not be "English friendly" to me if a FAQ is needed as opposed to a shmup or action game where you don't need anything more than a few minutes of playing to figure things out.
