If one is good at fighting games with pads, that's your pad to bring to tournaments so you can say "You just got beat by a cute penguin and seal".

I have a different ASCII controller with the same D-pad. It's pretty excellent for fighters. Maybe you should try that.

Nice find on the Hagane. But yeah, just let things simmer for a few hours before posting.

hi everyone.

haven't bought much lately, But I got some ps1 games today.

I got CIB copies of Resident Evil 2, and Kartia The Word Of Fate.

For $5.00

Kartia's case has some cracks, disc is in fair condition. RE2 has no scratches!

The one I'm most excited for is Kartia, I'm glad to have it complete. I've just had it disc only

Now $30 for a model 1 bare console is a bit overpriced, but with the box its not a bad deal at all i think. the console and controller has its original baggies but no sign of any liturature so not sure exactly what its missing. Also I found a dogbone nes controller for $10, not too bad.

I'm actually jealous of that boxed Genesis.

Very nice find, definitely the most iconic of all the Genesis console box variations. I don't care too much for collecting CIB games (except for Genesis, those cases are at least functional), but I do like picking up system boxes when I see them. Not only do they look awesome on display, they're handy storage for spare systems.

IIRC, you are missing the Genesis instruction manual (the one with the grid pattern cover, not the all black cover), a warranty/survey card, and (maybe?) a promotional poster or magazine insert.

I'm baffled by these deals. My local flea market is full of cheapskates, they overprice everything and all of the video game sellers look like serial killers.

They have to get their stock from somewhere.

I've experienced both ends of the spectrum at flea markets myself. It's all down to being in the right place at the right time and most of the time you aren't.

I found fire emblem for gamecube complete for $2. My find of the year.

It was a pawn I'd never been to before out of town and the games didn't have prices so I was worried but I grab it anyways and went to the counter. I asked the lady how much cause I've near been there before and when she said $2 I had to contain myself.

As an owner of two HD CRT Wegas, always love reading about another Sony CRT owner. My Avatar Name gives my preference of gaming screen. :D

Model number, size and cost? Where did you find it?

It has arrived and has been installed. I must admit it's quite a beauty, though veeery hefty haha. It's 27" wide, and I originally heard about it through a Facebook group associated with the college I went to, where people post things for buy/sell/trade. Ended up scoring it for 50 bucks. Now all my systems pre-PS3/360 are hooked up to it, and I'm enjoying a much clearer picture with them all. The only downside is it turns out that both TV remotes effect both TV's, so I was forced to put a piece of tape over the RF receiver on the Trinitron. Oh well, definitely a small price to pay for the improved look.

I'm dyin here. I've seen these popping up in this thread as of late, just found out in the wild for about $10. Makes me sad that I don't have a flea market in my area and the only retro game store that I knew of went out of business 3 years ago.

Picked up Rockman & Forte for 200 yen. Woo!
I already have this game, but couldn't pass up on the price.
