PSA: I picked up two more Hatsune Miku Limited Edition Vitas. Should appear on my BST thread by the end of the month.

Luckily they don't cost that much anymore. ;)

Oh my. Curious. What are the arcade controllers going for now? I know the mini controllers are only $100-ish new.

You're talking about the huge one, right?
I see them (CIB) between 15,000 to 18,000 yen used at game shops.
The smaller one goes for about 5000 yen.

How much after EMS shipping to the US? It's a huge box! The arcade controller itself is about 3x the size of my QanBa Q4 arcade stick.

Got mine new, of course. Guess I should have waited to see what the used market was like.

I rarely use EMS. EMS will make you go broke! SAL would probably be about 60 to 80 bucks. I always use SAL when I send stuff back to the States. Takes exactly 14 days (to California). The extra time is worth the money saved.

Just for future reference, in the Japanese market specialty controllers that are game-specific drop in value pretty quickly. I see piles and piles of game-specific controllers in bargain bins all over the place.

Makes sense. I knew I wasn't getting the best deal possible, but I wanted it at launch. I feel like I've gotten my money's worth.

Pretty great if you can get them used, and in great shape, for $250-ish after shipping. Definitely worth it. And it should still be fine for Project DIVA F 2nd since it doesn't look like they are really adding any new tricks. Just bringing back old favorites from the PSP versions and maybe adding some new as well.

I've already got over 70. Problem is that users can only upload 3 at a time. So a lot of good ones aren't available anymore. But I'm sure other good ones have replaced them.

Edit play songs seem to work better on Vita in general. PS3 requires more tweaking to get the notes to line up when you download edit play songs. And the volume is twice as loud. I'd recommend adjusting the volume from 70 down to 35 for the vast majority of edit play songs on PS3. And as mentioned, a lot more fiddling with getting the notes not to be a bit off.

Valkyrie-Favor wrote:Wait, they had this game at Wal-Mart? That's amazing! It's not on store shelves anywhere in my area. If it's actually on the shelf, people might make impusle buys. I'm just surprised a big retailer thought it was worth the shelf space. Or was it just the demo and no games on the shelves.
Alas, it was only the demo. That PS3 on display was loaded with every demo imaginable. I don't know who keeps that thing up to date, but they do a hell of a job. I wish the Wii U had that many game demos to try. As for the game, if they had it I didn't see it. :?
