"Shmup" is far more elegant!

YES!!!fastbilly1 wrote:Well Tom won out. Mostly because the guy I am buying from does not have enough parts ready for a Crow. So I am selling my original Tom pieces later tonight to a local bot builder and my kit comes next week!prfsnl_gmr wrote:Tomfastbilly1 wrote:Smiled - Got paid for a secondary job I never thought I would be paid for, so my wife advised that I should build one of the MST3k Robots. So tonight I will be buying the rest of the parts for Tom or Crow. I just havent decided which one yet.
There...I decided for you.
On a related note, my wife and I have been working our way through the fourth season of Arrested Development, and I absolutely loved the completely unexpected MST3K cameo.
Although "McCloud!" always makes me laugh, Tom is my favorite...

Crow will be Christmas, unless we find a suitable carseat then we will be making Gypsys... A buddy of mine has a 4ftx4ft vacuum former in his garage so we can pull the chair in thinner purple plastic and it will be the exactly the same just lighter.prfsnl_gmr wrote:YES!!!

That's great news. Excel and a BAII Plus calculator will soon be your best friends and you'll be forced to say "Eee-bah-dah" (ebitda).Czernobog wrote:I made the plunge to go back to school full-time to get an Accounting degree and some certifications.
Don't take everything you learn about accounting in school as the end all and rules written in stone. Some companies construct their ledgers differently than from what you'll learn.
I'm not a CPA, but I've been balancing books for over a decade, so if you ever have any questions I'll do my best to help out.
Frown: I haven't heard from my Sister since she had her baby boy. I got the news from her Husband, and I've left messages that have received no response. If she has the time to post on facebook she should have time to call her brother.
Gives me that "she really doesn't care about me" feeling. Stings when you get that feeling from a close family member. Oh well.
Smile: Lining up a few stand up gigs for October. Looking for something in Charlotte NC so a few forum members can see me perform, but so far, bust.
Smile: Going to have a writing session tonight with a few other comedians. The rush you get leaving the stage is incredible, but writing with other funny guys and gals is my favorite thing about doing stand up as the writing process is even funnier than what comes out of it.
Plus, when going on stage you need to be clear minded, sober, and on top of your game (drunk comics are the worst). Lots of debauchery goes on during writing sessions.

Frown: Working on my network+ cert and I am in awe of how much learning I have left to do.
Smile: I became aware of Mighty 9 today and I am very happy about it.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Frown: I tried to go hit some golf balls at the driving range this evening, but I pulled up, and realized I forgot my community card (for 'free' range-balls) but did notice that there was no one around. (It was about 61 degrees, though.) Drive back home, get my card, drive back only to find out that the doors were closed on the ball dispenser.
Smile: It's supposedly going to frost tonight! That pinko bastard, Summer, can't leave soon enough.

Yeah I'm loving this early Autumn, my NE brethren.
Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Yeah, I love Fall. Would really like it if there were a place where it's just New England Autumn all year long. It was a pretty mild summer, where I am, aside from a few crazy weeks in June—or was it May—though.
