hah, i saw more bends than possible.

its been a long time so i forgot s-video is 4 pins and an anchor. not 6.

Honestly, it was bent pretty bad. I think it was touching the pin on the other side.

Would it be a bad to tap the pin very lightly with a toothpick, just to see if it is still has some sturdiness to it or to see if it is loosely goosey?

Edit: also, I read something on another forum saying that s video cable only use 2 of the pins, and the other 2 are just there for support. Is this true?

Quite playing with it. Every time you unplug and replug a chance of breaking one of the pins, even if plugging in carefully.

All four pins are used to separate the Chroma and Luma channels.

Maybe you should just replace the cable like the seller offered?

Yea, but I think it was if it was causing problems. Not sure though. Too cheap to play return shipping lol, if it is working right now.
