I am eating the lunch of champions. Cinnamon pancakes with some powdered sugar with a nice slathering of Buckwheat honey and banana.

Sounds delicious. Did you have the white veal brats that look like Weisswurst, or the raw pork red brats?

Homemade sauerkraut rye bread is to die for.

My favorite sauerkraut:

1 can shredded kraut
1 red potato, peeled and shredded
1 half of a yellow onion, shredded
1 red apple, peeled and shredded
2 tsp caraway seeds
4 TBSP water

Add 'em all together, bring to a boil, lower heat, simmer for 10-20 minutes.

Grilling out, indoors.

Indoor smoked baby back ribs, half rubbed, half smothered in a chipotle bbq sauce
Vinegar and sugar based sole slaw
Deviled Eggs
Spinach salad with a homemade ranch dressing and croutons
Something I forgot (it's delicious)
Fresh fruit cocktail with whipped cream and basil

Raw pork. And it was delicious.

Pad Se Ew today. It's a dish that even when it's not as good as the last Thai place is still good.

I'm sorry.

Mussels at only $4.99 a lb.? Looks like I'll be making mussels with ravigote tonight.

EDIT! Going to make Mussels ravigote with pancetta wrapped Brussel sprouts for tonight's dinner feature: BLOODSPORT

If you don't get the reference, your life is empty.

Tonight is pot roast, with a variety of peppers and mushrooms and potato types that were all in the discount produce bin at Kroger last night. Sadly the price of sheep at my Kroger has shot up three dollars so it will be awhile before I try making Lamb Saag.

The goal going forward is dinner is Salad and Soup during the week, since I would like to lose about ten pounds by Thanksgiving.

Wow. I got my wife to love brussel sprouts. I used prosciutto instead of pancetta since it crisps better. We went through the mussels like we hadn't eaten in months. Another plus is that I only had to throw out three mussels out of at least thirty.
