My game room at my new place...

Post by Flak Beard »

My game room at my new place...

Finally got things organized the way I wanted. I have sort of a minimalist setup, but it does the job. Nothing fancy, just a 24" CRT with a Logitech 2.1 system hooked up to it. I keep my s-video switch box on the back right of the TV. Right now I only have a few systems hooked up, the PS2, PS1 (for imports), Xbox, Retro Duo and a DVD player.

I like to keep things neat and organized in the closet space so the room feels big and open. The only thing I don't like is that the house I'm renting only has sliding doors on all the closets, so you can only have one door open at a time. Also, my 360 is not in this room because my wife likes to play it so it's hooked up to the living room TV.

Everything looks good. So what kind of television is your 360 hooked up to?

Another standard CRT, but 27 inches. We are currently saving up for a 40"+ LCD. Sometimes I will play the 360 on my PC monitor depending on the game.

That's the sort of setup I like. The stuff you need is plugged in and all that other crap stays in the closet.

That is the tidiest damned games room I've ever seen. I hope my wife doesn't see these shots, or she'll force me to tidy up my room too.

Those are some pretty rockin' SNES games you've accumulated.
