I talk a lot worse than I actually feel, although I probably do give off bad vibes, simply because I'd rather not be around people I don't know on a pretty close friend level due to the fact I'm not comfortable with them, and I don't know how to act- I'm not sure how they'll react to me, where the limits of what I can say and do are, and what would be acceptable for me to talk about with them.

I mean, if you stuck me in a room with 99 strangers, unless someone came up to me and made an effort, I'd probably be the only one to leave who didn't talk to anyone.

I wouldn't trust me with advice much either, but that's pretty much the best you are gonna get. You need to calm down and man up.

Smile: Sherlock (my dog) is one today.

Smile: Great day. Still have my cold but everything went fantastic. Also don't have a boatload of homework which is great!

Ticked: This cold means I basically have post-nasal drip worse than it would normally be. What it normally would be was bad in the first place. Constantly having to swallow making awkward swallowing sounds.

Proud: I'll have you guys know I only fell in love with this girl in my Hum-121 class 30 or so times today. Found some nerve and struck up a conversation with her and got her number. Cute gal.

:) Remembered my Racketboy password and username.

:D I made the plunge to go back to school full-time to get an Accounting degree and some certifications. My Fine Arts degree in media isn't exactly helping me afford anything, even when I get work the pay is more often than not minimum wage. I'm surprised by how difficult some of the classes are, but enjoy the challenge. I saved up for a year working a hellish job so that I could pay my way through without any more loans. Didn't expect to need some Calculus, but it feels good to be learning so much.

:( I can't buy any games for the most part until after the PS4 release. Damn minimum wage.

 Two seconds away from walking out of this building and not coming back. Too much is expected from me after I told them I was just getting by here and learning as I go. They said "Ask us any questions if you have any", which I never do because I'm too embarrassed. Well... I decided to and it was announced loudly to the whole floor that I didn't know this thing and how silly it was that I didn't know it. So a discussion went on for about 5 minutes about this shit. I'm not cut out for this....

:? Dr. Wily stages on Mega Man. Think I finally got the pattern down for that big yellow thing.

I never really understood that either. They tell you to ask anything and when you do, they answer in a condescending manner. This goes for school and real life.

I'm the exact same way pretty much to the dot. It takes me months to feel comfortable around people unless I'm close to them or have known them for a long time. But from experience I just keep in mind how I act when I'm alone or with the people I'm close to and I just put an effort forth though it's really nerve racking. I'm a huge goofball beyond most people and it's sometimes hard to bring that out to people that I don't know because my actions and sense of humor are sometimes hard to swallow but it usually works because i'm simply being myself and not holding back and people pick up on that. You must realize not EVERYONE is going to like you just as you're not going to like everyone else. But like I said, though it's nerve racking, track your actions in your comfort zone and try to break out of that shell. It doesn't hurt to say hello to someone or ask how they're doing. If they give you shit, it really is their problem not yours. I've been waiting for months for people to approach me at my new job to make friends, but it doesn't really work out that way especially if you give off bad vibes like I do. Just find someone you'd like to get to know. And simply say hey, maybe bring up an interest of yours or ask what they're into. You'd be amazed what you can find from exploring someone else's world and having them explore your. Trust me though I know it's tough.

Tom

There...I decided for you.

On a related note, my wife and I have been working our way through the fourth season of Arrested Development, and I absolutely loved the completely unexpected MST3K cameo.
Well Tom won out. Mostly because the guy I am buying from does not have enough parts ready for a Crow. So I am selling my original Tom pieces later tonight to a local bot builder and my kit comes next week!
