Yeah they caught on there my friend. I remember getting the PS3 version for $0.99 a couple years ago (have my original 360 version also). Problem is the servers are now down so the ease of just grabbing Operation sports rosters (which you couldn't use online anyway which stunk) is tougher.

were probably the only members in here who has both the 360 and PS3 version of that game. it's a good thing i updated to those roster while it was still active.

most likely the difference is the college theme (NCAA), rather than professional (NFL) presentation. game play wise it's should be same (with their yearly or minor updates to game play).

it's also the same with basketball (NCAA vs NBA theme). This is how 2K Sports and EA update their sports game every year.

Football is football, but gameplay actually varies between the 2.

For one, the college game itself is different and more diverse. But the way it plays and feels is also different.

For someone who plays 2 or 3 games a year, then you might not notice a lot of differences beyond the obvious few 'gimmicks' they add or tweak each year. As a person who plays it a lot, they change and update much more than most think, especially concerning AI and physics.

I was so pumped for that too - at least we got in that one night of gaming. I was actively searching GameStops to find copies for everyone too. Alas...
