Menegrothx wrote:I'll never understand fanboys. You'd rather not play an awesome game that people have been begging to get for years because it's not on the right platform? Limiting yourself to only certain platform is doing a huge disservice to yourself as it means missing tons of awesome games, and gives the impression that you're more of fan of a company like Sony or Nintendo, rather than a fan of video games as a whole.
What? Now I'm a fanboy? I just stated my preferred platform for games in general. PS Vita. I prefer portables for everything but things like fighters and shmups. And the thing is, I'm not a huge Mega Man fan in the first place. But I am far more likely to play it if I can play it on the go.

Sorry for preferring portable games and in this case, preferring the Vita over the 3DS. My reasoning is that the Vita is more capable of having the game look and run comparably to the potential PS3, 360, and WiiU ports.

If it were on the 3DS and not the Vita, well, I guess my previous post was a little exaggerated. I would still consider trying it, but my interest would definitely be lessened and for a game who's style I would probably not really be that into anyway.

This isn't about being a fanboy. I own every console this gen and will likely own every console this coming gen. I own or have owned many retro consoles as well. If I were a fanboy I'd be proclaiming how much the WiiU or 360 or PC are t3h suXX0rz and that the game should be Sony exlcusivezzzz omg!!! lolzz

Also mentioned PS4/Vita crossbuy because a lot of indie games have already been announced to be on both. And likely will be crossbuy just like many PS3/Vita indies. Make sense? Or would Vita/WiiU crossbuy make more sense to you? Or maybe Xbox One/3DS crossbuy.

You said Vita/PS4, not Vita/3DS. You said that your "interest in this game is almost zero" if it doesn't come out on Sony platforms. I see no reason why any gamer wouldn't want to play a game that's most likely going to be really great just because it isn't out on handhelds (or on certain platform). I'd understand if it was a phone game that used touch controls, because that would play differently and most likely be worse than older games in the series, but that's not the case here. Being picky due to mechanical reasons is understandable, like avoiding the console ports of RTS, strategy or FPS games. But if there aren't gameplay or mechanical differences between platforms, refusing to play a good game because it's on a certain platform or isn't on a certain platform is inexcusable.

It's 2013, doing leet speak ironically is just as bad as doing it unironically back in 2003.

So you choose to respond to only a small portion of my post and skip all the relevant points. Oh, okay. I guess we are done here.

Broken $1.5 million. Less than $700,000 needed for console versions now.

They lowered the console version stretch goal from 2.5 million to 2.2 million due to the overwhelming feedback in support of console versions so that's something.
