So it seems, a wolf in sheep's clothing. Unless you're a supporter of extreme pragmatism and rationalism (all human activities that don't serve progress are meaningless and a waste of time), you're either being hypocritical or anti-video game. Being emotionally invested in video games isn't any more stupid than being emotionally invested in movies, fashion, TV shows, celebrities etc. Out of many of those passive/semi passive ways to kill time, I think video games on average are the most rational and worthwhile way to kill time. So you should be more worried about that much larger group of people who get emotionally invested in much more stupid and useless things before you attack gamers.

OMG GUIZ! Sonic is losing the GameFAQs battle. I wouldn't care if it weren't for the fact that he's losing to Mewtwo. Mewtwo is a Pokemon, a crappy "game" played by legions of dipshit kids that call themselves "Nintendo fans". The Pokemon games are considered to be a joke in RPG circles. My cherished game character is being beaten by some old fad. This is the worst thing to have happened to me.

I like Dota a bit more than League of Legends. But really, HoN over LoL? Hon is absolutely terrible. League of Legends at least gives a different experience than Dota. HoN is just a much shittier version of Dota. Even Smite is a better game.
