Shin Megami Tensei IV
Re: Shin Megami Tensei IV
You just have to answer the questions during the game in such a way that your alignment is neutral when the time comes. If you're having issues getting neutral then I'm not sure what to tell you. But there are guides out there if you are looking to try the neutral path.

I am, but it's a meshback trucker hat that says Bad Dog, so I'm not sure where that leaves us.noiseredux wrote:are you wearing a hat in real life, Mitch? I've heard that to get "the good ending" you need to be wearing a hat.Stark wrote:How do you do neutral? Seemed like there were only 3 options there, two of them being Law and Chaos and the third routing you back to the "bad" ending.ZenErik wrote:That's the bad ending. I would at least load the save again to play through neutral, law, or chaos. I wouldn't even count the bad ending as finishing the game, personally.
Just like getting the bad ending in Persona 4. A good 10+ hours shorter than the real endings. But your choice!

Meh, I went with Law. It's cool.ZenErik wrote:You just have to answer the questions during the game in such a way that your alignment is neutral when the time comes. just checked GameFAQs... was supposed to be a porkpie hat you were to be wearing, bro.Stark wrote:Meh, I went with Law. Specifically, the two choices at that point that aren't "I want the bad ending because I'm Noise" merely give you a large chunk of points towards Law or Chaos. But if that decision leaves your points in the Neutral zone then you get the Neutral path.Stark wrote:Meh, I went with Law. I'm not like you popo. I'm noise. Forget it. You wouldn't understand. I'm outta heaaaa.
Re: Shin Megami Tensei IV
I was kind've surprised I ended up neutral since I was leaning towards Chaos most of the way. I never looked at a guide so let's not act this is some kind of impossible thing to pull off. I just pet the game play out naturally.Stark wrote:Meh, I went with Law. That being said, I don't like the "bad" ending because there's no climax, no conclusion, and nothing is resolved or reformed. You basically just give up on the world and all it's inhabitants and make it all disappear.

Yeah I just realized I actually meant Chaos, I went with Walter. I finished the part in the white, I guess I'm doing whatever is next now.CavZee wrote:I was kind've surprised I ended up neutral since I was leaning towards Chaos most of the way.
