Re: Together Retro: Zork
I haven't played this one in ages. I remember I played it for a while, stopped and when I tried to come back I was totally lost. I don't remember anything else.
Which version should I play?

The one in Call of Duty: Black Ops... nah I'm kidding. I say go with the GoG Zork Anthology set. It comes with some digital feelies that can help out.

Re: Together Retro: Zork
I had a mess around with this over the weekend, made some progress. Picked up lots of stuff and dropped a fair bit too because I was carrying too much all the time.
I made it to a dam area, but ended up accidently flooding a room, and after reading more about it, I found out that that unfortunately means I've gotten myself into an unwinnable situation.
I didn't save, so I'll have to have another go some other time.

Well, the reason I hadn't save is because I didn't realise you could. I'm willing to bet it's by typing save >_<

Avoiding the grue is pretty easy, you probably walked right past the exact item you needed.
The fact that the game has a rape command and not a use command is pretty sad.

Re: Together Retro: Zork
alright so I'm in the cellar area, and basically don't know how to get out. I've found the troll, and attacking him is useless.
