The former. I was thrown off by the lack of blue text.
Ah, I forgot about the blue text. Damn.

I've never gotten very far in the game, but I finally made it to the LAST SIDE of the LAST DISK.
But now I'm haunted by disk read errors when I try to load that disk, and that side especially.
I suspect that the data is intact but that the center of the disk might be too worn and the drive isn't "gripping" it properly.

This makes me EXTREMELY UPSET. I wish it was the first disk that was messed up, so I wouldn't have wasted so much time and I could have just played the PC version instead... GAAH.
Damn, that blows, dude. I don't know Space Quest for the Apple II manages its saves, but perhaps you can back them up and play the rest in an emulator?
I found disk images online... I'm going to try to get ADTPro set up and see if I can make a copy of the fourth disk and play it that way. I think the game had some sort of copy protection, so I'm not sure if it will work or not, but I'VE GOTTA TRY!

Oh man that does indeed suck! Speaking of playing on the AppleII. I gotta bust out my AppleIIGS and start playing some of the old games from back in the day. Gotta go through the King's Quests, Space Quests, Quest for Glorys and the Police Quests... not to mention Castle Wolfenstein, Space Ace, The Lord of the Rings and that really weird tutorial program that teaches you how to use a mouse with an Indiana Jones lookalike with his robot sidekick... those were the days.

I think I am ready for a new console generation. I spent a half an hour or so at Gamestop this morning perusing their 3 for $10 list and then, failing to find three games of interest, debating if there were three games I wanted in the B2G1 sale. I couldn't find anything in the entire store that piqued my interest. Everything I'd have considered was either A) something I already owned B) an older/cheap game that they didn't have all the parts for or C) something that was newer but still too expensive (even with the sale) for me to be interested. So yeah, I don't know that I need to even bother going into a Gamestop again unless there's some unique preorder thing that is worth getting or unless they have a specific title for a new price that is lower than I'd find elsewhere. Their sales suck.

Anyone ever play Just Breed on Famicom?

It's an Enix strategy RPG. There's an English fan translation. Looks very intriguing.

Looks interesting. Only SRPG I've ever played is Dragon Force and it is one of my favorite RPGs; even though I suck at it...

Almost 9 out of 10 times when GS is have a sale like B1G1 ,B2G1, 2 for $10, etc. all you'll find is shovel-wear.

Haha yeah... I think the "just" in this case is supposed to mean good, righteous, etc... Still pretty funny.

It's not a hentai game I promise.
