If Racket STGT gets enough interest there wouldn't necessarily be a need for a 12th game. There are 9 members so far.

There were a lot of proposals and a lot of ideas - I never saw that one discussed.

Then you sit out that week. If only one team member sits out, then it's fine, if 2 team members sit out, then it will affect the team score (2 highest scores for each time are used). Best bet for an STGT is to at least get one run - post it, and move on if you aren't good or don't have time, etc. There are always teams at Shmups STGT with full rosters of (7) and still ony 2-3 team scores submitted. It happens, so best to coordinate w/other members on your team what your availability would likely be...

What are some good shumps for the PS2?

Raiden lll
Gradius lll & lV
Some good ones on the Taito collections (Gekirindan, Gun Frontier, Raystorm)

The import shmups are much better than the localized ones.

Far as imports, mushihimesama, espgaluda, homura, ibara, and I'm probably forgetting some. I leave one of my monitors tate bascially just for espgaluda, which is probably my favorite PS2 shmup.

So homura for sept then? I'm good with that. If anyone wants to get in on that game but doesn't have it, but has a PS2, PM me and I'll help you out.

Nothing was stopping you, or anyone else that had nominated games, from doing their own write up though. Nothing is stopping anyone for the remaining games/months from submitting a write up to me either. As with everything here it's pretty much an open invitation basis. ExedExes' write up is posted every month because he apparently enjoys doing it and no one else submits anything.

I thought Exed doing them was like a ritual. I never would have thought to do my own write up. I'd be happy to do one next year, though.
