I recently watched someone go through the demo showing you all the things you can do and showing all the secrets. Man that game is very very complex. Definitely want this even more now. Did you know that you can unlock Wonder Pink (the whip girl) and Wonder Yellow (the power hammer) in the mission room? Crazy!!

The always inaccurate VGChartz says 150k for Pikmin 3 in the US. No idea how accurate that is.

yeah does that take into consideration just physical copies or digital as well. I know Nintendo has been keeping the digital numbers close to the chest, I'm guessing until there is a milestone that they feel worthy of announcing them.

I seem to see a lot of criticism from fans on Wonderful 101, and I heard that critics gave it pretty mediocre reviews as well. A little surprising given how much everyone loved the demo.

What do you guys think of the game? It's pretty high on my priority list for getting a Wii-U, but I may risk my first purchase on something a bit more safe considering these games are pretty expensive.

Did they? Most of the reviews I read were fairly positive.

Anyways, the game is awesome. Buy it now and you'll thank me later! I promise you.

Platinum's games never really get crazy reviews for some reason. They're just not mainstream enough I guess. *shrug*

And it is a worthwhile exclusive. Since when did sales measure a games greatness?
Since we are talking that Nintendo should make exclusive games that would actually make people want to purchase the Wii U to make the Wii U a successful console commercially. This game was supposed to be the type of game that would make people go out and buy a Wii U.

Any way I just learned it was its first week and no NA launch. By next week or the week after we can easily see sales sky rocket , who knows. I guess its too early to judge.

btw, I am all for new and different games and not another "brown" FPS. If these "different" games fail commercially that means in the future we will see less and less of them. I heard once that Sega got a cult following because they always were trying new and different stuff. Of course, all of you know more about this than me.

I don't think the Wonderful 101 was ever going to be a system seller. Are you serious?

Never expected it to be big. But hopefully it becomes a success for what it is and sells a least 100k.

Yeah I think the role of The Wonderful 101 was to cater to the hardcore crowd. Visually, it may seem cartoony, but the mechanics of the game are incredibly intense. From what I have seen, it is a much more complex bayonetta or devil may cry and that is saying a lot of good things. It is just another solid title to add to the lineup to make the library viable.

Yeah, what you guys said. Wonderful 101 a system seller? Don't be silly. It's a niche game that won't have widespread appeal.
