Stopped by toys r us today while we were out and was checking out the games section. After walking up and down the glass case a couple times I finally found the vita games... all the way at the end...at the bottom, and there were literally only 4 games. Pretty sad sight, and when I went to the accessories, there was just a small section and everything had a "clearance" tag, but the prices did not seem to be that much cheaper.
After that we picked up Persona 4, my wife has been interested in it for a while. There goes me being able to play the Vita for a while!

Re: Playstation Vita thread
My Miku Vita ended up going for $585 on eBay. More than even I expected considering I said it probably wasn't in perfect shape, am not accepting returns, and refused to ship outside the Continental USA. Actually ended up making a decent profit.
Maybe I should buy more from Japan and flip em.
Kidding..
Really like The Walking Dead game so far. Controls COULD be better and the load times are a bit long. But overall, it's been a great experience.

Re: Playstation Vita thread
After Dragon's Crown came out I tried finding it at the local big box stores like Target and Best Buy (would have gone to Toys R Us but it's a bit of a drive).jay_red wrote:Stopped by toys r us today while we were out and was checking out the games section. The Vita selection at these places is terrible! They still have bunches of launch (or near-launch) games (Gravity Rush, Dungeon Hunter Alliance, Army Corps of Hell, Uncharted, MLB 12, etc) but nothing else! Couldn't believe it. Ended up ordering the game online.
Re: Playstation Vita thread
I wonder how much more Sony, the publishers, and developers make on PSN purchases. Besides getting rid of my collecting habits, that is one of the reasons I am doing it. But I am curious as to exactly how much more they make on digital downloads. Is it just Sony getting the extra profit?
Re: Playstation Vita thread
I'd imagine both Sony and the publisher would make a bit more profit. I think that's why you see a good number of digital releases with a smaller price tag.ZenErik wrote:I wonder how much more Sony, the publishers, and developers make on PSN purchases. Rayman Origins will be a PS+ title for Vita this September! Sorry Ubisoft. I was considering Rayman Legends, but I think I'd rather just get the free Rayman Origins for now and actually try to finish it this time. If I finish it and love it then I'll go for Legends.
Re: Playstation Vita thread
Well, if you don't love Origins then either:
A) You're not into platformers
B)You have no soul and hate even thinking about fun.

Re: Playstation Vita thread
Honestly, I just have a lot of trouble staying interested in platform games. It's not because they're not GOOD. For whatever reason I just often play them one for a few hours and never really feel like going back. Personal tastes, I guess. I know that Rayman Origins looks fantastic and is pretty fun. I've played it before.
Would love to see A Boy and his Blob (Wii version) get ported to Vita though.
