In a separate pan I made a Bechamel sauce with 3 TBSP Flour, 3 TBSP butter, a cup of milk, and a cup of grated Parmesan cheese.

In an oven proof skillet I first dumped a can of diced tomatoes, followed by the beef and onion mix, then the shroom and eggplant mixture, and topped with the bechamel sauce. Cooked in a 400 degree oven for 25 minutes.

Crazy good eats.
Moose-caca? Eeeewwww....

My Big Fat Greek Wedding is such a great film.

I said that the trial would be interspersed with flashbacks revealing the events leading up to it.
reminds me a bit like the first episode of Freddy's Nightmares:
The pilot episode was directed by Tobe Hooper, and begins with Freddy Krueger's acquittal of the child-murdering charges due to his officer's lack of reviewing the Miranda warning at the time of Freddy's arrest. A mob of parents eventually corners Freddy in a power plant (his workplace), leading to him being torched by the police officer, dying and gaining his familiar visage.
In a way, it is, but the first film ends with Freddy's acquittal, while also leaving us with the possibility that Freddy will either renounce his ways or not.

SPOILER: He doesn't.

And the second ends with his death at the hands of an angry mob.

And there's a scene I wrote that serves as either the epilogue or post-credits scene, where
A teenaged girl, who looks hopped up on God knows what, goes into a convenience store at around dusk. A well-placed newspaper shot reveals that quite a deal of time has transpired since Freddy's death, and that a strange series of unusual suicides are affecting people under the age of 18. She goes straight for the caffeine products (energy shots, et al), but the clerk refuses to sell them due to her age and apparent condition. She claims that lately some "fucked-up shit" has been happening, and she's better off awake. The clerk still refuses to sell them to her, so she just takes them and throws some bills his way, telling him to "keep the change and piss off". She then unscrews the caps of the energy shots, downing each one in succession to chase down some caffeine pills. She's walking to the crosswalk, presses the button and notices an old women with a striped shawl (it being dusk, the colors are hard to make out). She asks the girl what the matter is, with the girl going in detail of dreams she's been having lately, and how these dreams, which feel real and with a sense of foreboding danger (almost a prelude to murder), seem to correlate with the rash of suicides. She adds that no one believes her or her friends, and how staying awake seems the only solution.

As an 18-wheeler comes into view, the old lady comforts her, but as the 18-wheeler gets closer...

She reveals to the girl that sometimes...

You don't NEED to sleep to dream...

Before pushing the girl right in front the truck, and as the paramedics gather around her, she keeps asking about the old lady which only she seems to see. One of them say something along the lines of "not another one". The old lady shifts in and out of view, and we realize she is just a form taken by Freddy in this girl's dream.

Anyone else excited for the new Riddick movie? I loved Pitch Black and Chronicles was a servicable action flick but went in a different direction than Pitch Black and wasnt as good.

It looks like they are going back to the horror/suspense style like they did in Pitch Black with Riddick.

I'm hesitant. I agree with you on Pitch Black, though I don't care for Chronicles. A return to the first film would be more to my liking, but I will be waiting for reviews, both professional and from here.

GETAWAY

If you like any Ethan Hawke driven movie where he plays the naive but unrelenting hero (which is all of 'em) you'll like this. If you like car chases, foot chases, small explosions, large explosions, you'll like this. If you like Selena Gomez, even if she she's "just there", you'll like this.

But most importantly if you like action thrillers that are dark, drab, and dull, you will definitely like this.

I am, but I don't get out to the movies much. We'll see if I see it in theaters.

I felt Pitch Black was alright when it came out. I thought Chronicles of Riddick was a POS when it came out. The fact that they could make another one that is virtually the same thing again and make me want to see it probably means that movies in general are garbage right now.

But, yeah I'll pay $5 to see it.

I really like Pitch Black, and I really enjoyed the extended cut of Chronicles of Riddick. (The movie was kind of a mess, but it had a lot of heart.) Finally, Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay is an awesome game, and I admire both Vin Diesel and David Twohy's dedication to the character.

The Riddick films have the "grit" that was missing from the most recent Star Wars films, and I am cautiously optimistic that the new film will be as good as Pitch Black. (With two small children, however, it is unlikely that I will get to see it in theaters. :( )
