It's more like 6kish according to Famitsu, but yeah, no one bought it. Didn't sell well in the UK either.ZenErik wrote:Maybe old news, but I just saw that The Wonderful 101 only sold a little over 5,000 copies its' first week in Japan. Wow..

Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
I honestly feel bad for Platinum Games right now. Because it looked awesome when I saw it at PAX East. Never actually ended up playing and still need to download the demo, but there is basically a 95% chance I will be buying it.
Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
Probably but I'd recommend the Windwaker special edition if you care about resale value. The ZombieU edition isn't anything special besides the pro controller which you can buy standalone and the game itself is going to be a super budget title one day like RedSteel was on the Wii. The Windwaker edition Wii U will sell out by Christmas time and then it will become a somewhat collectors item or at least hold its value above any other regular deluxe Wii U.Violent By Design wrote:
Does anyone know what bundles are out there? I know they're having the Windwaker one, but I think I'd get the Zombie-U one if they still have it.

I thought I saw that the Zelda edition was a GameStop exclusive too which will make it even more rare.8bit wrote:Probably but I'd recommend the Windwaker special edition if you care about resale value. I think if you want the Gannondorf toy you have to go to gamestop. Pretty sure the Special edition controller is sold everywhere.Phades wrote:I thought I saw that the Zelda edition was a GameStop exclusive too which will make it even more rare.8bit wrote:Probably but I'd recommend the Windwaker special edition if you care about resale value. Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
The bundle is GameStop exclusive, so says the press release. So is the Wind Waker HD Limited Edition game. (Which they still don't have up in their computers :\)
If the 3DS Ocarina of Time bundle is any indication ... the Wii U Wind Waker bundle should be highly sought after. Maybe even more so considering it's only going to be available at one retailer. The Zelda 3DS goes for $150-$250 by itself.

And it is a worthwhile exclusive. Since when did sales measure a games greatness?RCBH928 wrote:This game was the one that everyone told me was the worthwhile exclusive on the Wii-UViolent By Design wrote:It's more like 6kish according to Famitsu, but yeah, no one bought it. Older. Not wiser.
Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
Yeah if we went by sales no one would ever talk about Earthbound.

True. But I just wish for games like this to be successful so we can get more of them.KDub wrote:Yeah if we went by sales no one would ever talk about Earthbound.
