Where to find cheap 3DS Games?

Post by NEWO »

Hello all,

Can anyone recommend any cheap 3DS games that are any good? Or any ongoing deals like buy two get a third free or something like that. Thanks. It seems all the good games are either $30 or $40 for the 3DS.

I picked up shinobi for the 3DS new for $12 shipped which seems like my only good deal. I was wondering if I should pick up a few more just to hold on to because it seems absurdly cheap especially for something that may be in high demand in a few years as a collectors piece just because of the relevance and historical significance of shinobi.

As another side note does anyone think fire emblem awakening is going to get a price drop anytime soon. It seems all the major releases and mario titles are about $30 shipped on amazon, however fire emblem is the only 3DS game that is staying at the $40 mark. I assume with all the praise it has got its well worth it but still...

You probably won't find many first party titles drop below $30 unless there's a sale somewhere. Some third party stuff is really cheap though. I'd recommended Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy. I really liked this game, it's basically a remake of AC2 from the PSX.

Resident Evil Revelations can be had for under $20 basically everywhere as well.

Thanks sounds like a good game. So basically I should just bite the bullet on fire emblem.

Nintendo hasn't been generous to do Player's Choice line for the DS and 3DS, heck it took 2~3 yrs for Wii to have a Player's Choice line. FE: Awakening is the one FE that is worth playing, you don't need to play any of the previous releases on GBA, GC, Wii, and DS. Unless you seriously want to know the whole backstory of the DLC character cards.

If you were at all interested in Steel Diver, it's like $6.
