I never really thought about it before, but
the use of shots with a single vanishing point does seem to be part of what gives a Kubrick film the unique feel they have.

A very strange two-man hurdle race.
The guy who won seemed to have a distinct advantage, though I can't quite put my finger on it... Also, he should have been DQ'ed for leaving his lane.

Heh nice. Repelled my impenetrable wall of "this is not real and I know it", but still a nice commercial. Kind of a shame it was used for a gum commercial as opposed to a moment in a nice movie or something.
