Golden Sun
I liked tactics advance
Zelda link to the past 4 swords was amazing as well.... Pretty much because it's just a portable version of one of my fav games.

Advanced Guardian Heroes is better than a lot of people say once you let yourself get into it. Tons of replay value too. Also, Gunstar Super Heroes is pretty great, as are the three Castlevania games, although Circle of the Moon is lookin' pretty old these days.
Metroid Fusion and Metroid Zero Mission are probably the two games I've enjoyed the most on GBA.
Hell, there's tons of great GBA games.

Mario and Luigi is a very fun RPG (not sure the full title). Final Fight One's not a bad port either.

Very true, I spent a long time looking for that one. I don't know how difficult it is to find now, but definitely worth it.Citizin wrote: Final Fight One's not a bad port either.
In addition to the others mentioned above, Racing Gears Advance and AstroBoy: Omega.

If you've already played some or all of the Mega Man X series, I'd suggest trying the four games in the Mega Man Zero series. What's nice about that series is that, in most cases, any of the problems with one game tend to get smoothed out in the next one, and it's a very solid challenge. Just note that it's actually pretty story-intensive, so you should play them in order.
Along those same lines, Mega Man & Bass is great whether or not you've ever played a Mega Man game.
Any of the classic NES games are good bets as well in case you missed them or can't get a hold of the originals--Zelda, Castlevania, Metroid, etc.
If you like RPGs but don't dig Golden Sun's style, try out Breath of Fire or its superior (in my opinion) sequel. I wasn't too fond of them, but you might fare better.

River City Ransom and Double Dragon are fantastic

I'd definitely recommend Final Fight One. I think it's better than the arcade original.
Super Ghouls n Ghosts is a superb port of a wonderful SNES game.
Metroid Fusion, hard game, though.
If you're a Mario fan then get the various compilation games.
Contra Advance is good. Beware though, it's rock hard as they've taken some of the character's abilities out for some reason.

Ow!
Darn, I already have most of these on my to-get list or have already played.
I'll need to look into Advance Guardian Heroes, - although I didn't much like the Saturn game when I played it - Contra Advance, and Racing Gears.
I'm pretty sure I've completed the two Metroid games, which I'd say I most enjoyed too. I've yet to find a Metroid game I haven't thoroughly enjoyed.
