What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

that's a good question. I've played 1 (PS1, GCN), 0 (GCN), 4 (PS2), Code Veronica (DC), Gaiden (GBC)... and that's probably it. RE is a series I like enough from what I've played, and always mean to play more of the games.

I've heard that RE 2 or 3 is quite similar to one of the movies plot?

Anyway, I get what you're saying totally about the movies and games both def just being b-movie kind of popcorn goodness. I'm just saying I would have loved to have a movie that's just y'know zombies in a spooky mansion like the first game was.

That said, I've never understood why they don't make a movie that's a lot more like the first game. Considering how much the first game takes from 80's horror films, it seems kind of an obvious thing to do. Maybe someday we'll get an entry in the series that goes that route...
To me the RE movies are like the games. I'm not sure which games you have all played, but they all have pretty crappy story/dialogue/acting, they're just mindless fun. So are the movies. I always look forward to the next one.
different kind of mindless fun

Some time ago, I saw this obvious straight-to-DVD horror movie (the "obvious" part is from the obvious fact that they had no delusions of wide-theatrical) called "Jack the Reaper", which is a pretty short (80some minutes) pseudo-slasher where a bus full of teens get into a car accident and find themselves in an overused Scooby-Doo trope, an abandoned carnival. Slowly they're all picked off by a mysterious supernatural psycho who looks NOTHING like his cover-art counterpart. It's mostly a smattering of overused horror tropes and appearances from horror vet Tony Todd (Candyman, Final Destination, Hatchet, Night of the Living Dead (Savini remake) and so on) and 2001 Maniacs' Jay Gilespie.

You can check it out if you want. Or not. Whatever. Though granted I've seen worse. Maybe I'd be more lenient if this was from The Asylum. Which it's not.

Debbie Does Dallas.

Spoilers...
Debbie doesn't do all of Dallas. In fact she doesn't leave a 75-sq. ft. room. It's probably the worst tourism video ever made, but it is a movie.

HOWARD THE DUCK

GARBAGE PAIL KIDS THE MOVIE

THE GIRL NEXT DOOR

and anything Retrodude likes.

Yup. Sounds like a Beastie Boys/Dust Bros. collaboration.
